Hi, I’m Tom, a small animal general practitioner with a keen interest in medicine, surgery, and pharmacology. I thrive on the challenges that each day in general practice brings. I live in Verrierdale with my wife, two daughters, two dogs, and three chickens.

Growing up on a cattle station in North Queensland, my childhood was filled with adventures involving working dogs, horseback riding, and cattle herding. After graduating from the University of Queensland in 1998, I moved to Warren in country New South Wales. A year later, I ventured to England, where I gained extensive experience working with a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, farm animals, and wildlife. However, after a few years, I realized that my Australian accent was a bit challenging for the locals, so I decided to return home.

Having experienced my fair share of kicks, calvings, and other farm-related incidents, I chose to focus on small animals. Since then, I have dedicated myself to honing my skills in small animal clinical medicine and surgery, finding great satisfaction in providing high-quality care to pets and their families.
